Welcome to Langhorne Manor Borough, Bucks County, Pennsylvania

The Official Web Site of the Borough of Langhorne Manor

Langhorne Manor

Borough is a friendly residential community located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, 18 miles from downtown Philadelphia. The picturesque neighborhood displays stately older mansions as well as recently constructed homes, all on beautifully manicured tree-lined streets.

Mayor Robert Byrne presides over 0.65 square miles and 927 people living in the Manor. Incorporated in 1890, Langhorne Manor was named for the area's first landowners, the Langhorne's.  Several historical landmarks and the Philadelphia Biblical University are located within Langhorne Manor Borough.

Support your Langhorne Pennwood Library

The Pennwood Library has gone thorough many changes this last year and it is most imperative that the community is aware of the impact these changes will have on our community as a whole. Many of the children’s programs have been cut due to the lack of morning hours. The number of books throughout the library has been greatly reduced and has not been replaced with current publications as quickly as promised. The library hours were greatly reduced to a total of 29 hours/week. The library building is in desperate need of general maintenance and outside grooming. The Bucks County Library Board and the executive director have stated that the Pennwood Library is the least used library in the Bucks County Library system. The loss of funds from state and local government impacts the continued operation of our local library. We did not qualify for science in the summer program as we are not open 5 days/week and we do not have morning hours. Your support is most needed at this time. Use the library on a regular basis and check out books. Getting a library card is easy and free if you do not have one already. Please make an effort to attend the library board meetings which will demonstrate our commitment to supporting our Pennwood Library. A library is the center of every community. It provides a safe and pleasant learning environment for our children. A relaxing and comfortable meeting place for our seniors.

New Hours

Library hours: Monday & Tuesday 1pm-9pm, Wednesday & Thursday 10am-6pm, closed Friday, Saturday 10am-4pm
